Born in Santiago, Chile. The artist holds a master in fine arts from the University of Chile and a master in design of textiles and surfaces at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin.
The artist holds a master in fine arts from the University of Chile and is currently finishing her second master in design of textiles and surfaces at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin.
She has completed residencies programs as Künstlerhaus Bethanien and Glogauair (both in Berlin, Germany) and Bloc (Santiago, Chile).
In her artworks, she combines objects, drawings, photographs, texts and videos into complex series of works, which always have a philosophical and interdisciplinary inquiry as a common background.
From year 2014, the artist develops interdisciplinary projects of art and science in colaboration with philosophers, psychologists and neuroscientists.
Muriel has exhibited her works in important Museums, galleries and institutions throughout Europe, Latin American and USA.
Currently she works and lives in Berlin.
