All my treasures are yours

—2015—

All My Treasures Are Yours consists of various objects made from transparent resin shown in glass display cabinets. Each object is accompanied by a corresponding drawing on black paper .
The miniature objects, which were found in the city of Berlin, form a collection of seemingly insignificant figures. Here, however, they become treasures of a fictitious childhood. Levelling out their material differences by making them transparent responds to the desire to free them of any definite meaning.

This work shows how we project natural characteristics onto objects (which they do not actually possess) and the way in which they embody our thoughts, hopes and memories. Through this act, we appropriate them; they symbolise our memories as concrete evidence of the ungraspable nature of life.
