A piece of my dress

This work consists of the video of a performance, in which I walk through the former Tempelhoff airport as an act of appropriation. In the performance, walking symbolizes the demarcation and appropriation of spaces by inhabiting them. I stop to cut a piece of my dress and hang it on a tree as a flag as a mark, when I leave it tied there the wind makes this new flag flutter, and when I continue walking with the cut dress, I finish demarcating the space symbolically with my step.

The video of the performance together with the dress is presented in the exhibition. The flag has been left at Tempelhoff.
