Vanishing Objects

Interdisciplinary project in collaboration with the neuroscientist Simón Guendelman. The installations, drawings and sculptures composing Vanishing Objects were produced from materials and techniques chosen with the aim of materialising the concept of emptiness. By emphasising their vanishing character, the objects compose a simultaneously tangible and illusory unity.

The works composing Vanishing Objects highlight the process of creation by showing how an original (abstract) idea eventually develops into a final (tangible) work. This interdisciplinary project encourages spectators to consider the processes of construction of reality, evidencing that objects are tangible forms composed of parts that can be reduced until they completely disappear.
