Hanging Chairs

2021

The work suggests a sensory experience, through which the body of those who use them is sheltered in a refuge; a symbolic womb or nest, inviting reflection on the common origin in the journey of life. The three large chairs represent the different inhabitants of Dubai: natives, foreigners and immigrants.

The project aims to evolve and represent different populations around the world.
